Shikhar Dhawan Will Donate To Martyrs’ Families Of Pulwama Attack

Indian opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan will donate money to the families of martyred army persons, who lost their lives in the recent ghastly terror attack in Pulwama. On Thursday, over 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were killed in a terrorist attack, which left the nation in shock and everyone is mourning on this loss.

The voices of donation are coming from everywhere and Dhawan is the latest name in this long list to do a cause. He took Twitter to make it announced in an emotional video and requested others to step up in this hard time.

“This is the least we can do. Jis se jitna ban pade utna zaroor karein. Jai Hind #standwithforces Pulwama,” wrote Dhawan.

Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has announced, on Saturday, that he will bear the education expenses of martyred soldiers’ children in ‘Sehwag International School’ if they wish to apply.

“Nothing we can do will be enough, but the least I can do is offer to take complete care of the education of the children of our brave CRPF jawans martyred in Pulwama in my Sehwag International School @SehwagSchool, Jhajjar. Saubhagya hoga,” Sehwag tweeted.

Indian Boxer Vijender Singh, who is employed with Haryana Police, will donate his one month’s salary.

“I’m donating my one month’s salary for the martyrs of Pulwama Terror Attack and want everyone to come forward and support the families. It is our moral duty to always standby them and make them feel proud of their sacrifices. Jai Hind,” the Olympic Bronze medalist tweeted.

On the other hand, Vidarbha won Irani Cup on Saturday and their skipper Faiz Fazal announced that the team will donate the whole winning prize to the family of martyred soldiers of Pulwama attack.

“We as a team have decided to donate the prize money to the family of the martyrs who lost their lives in Pulwama. This is a small gesture from our team and VCA,” Fazal said.
