The veteran Indian opener, Shikhar Dhawan is spending his time well during the coronavirus lockdown by sharing amusing posts on his social media. On Monday, the Indian opener posted a picture of himself wearing a funny colorful wig with some hair-like stuff on it. Captioning the picture of the same on Instagram, Shikhar wrote: “Finally got some hair”.
Like most of the other sports, cricket is on a halt all across the globe due to coronavirus pandemic and will resume only with a three-match Test series between England and the West Indies, starting on July 8.
Dhawan would’ve played for Delhi Capitals (DC) if and when the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) commences. Recently, he also posted the picture of his newly adopted pets Twitter. He termed them “new family members” as in the picture his son Zoravar could be seen sitting beside him.
In his post, Shikhar Dhawan also revealed the names of his newly adopted pets. He had tweeted: “Adopted these cuties today. Chloe and Valentine our new family members #desidogs”.

Like many of his teammates, Dhawan has become quite active on various social media platforms. In addition to taking part in various Instagram live sessions, Dhawan doesn’t shy away from pulling legs of his fellow teammates. Every now and then, Shikhar can be seen commenting some hilarious replies on his fellow teammates’ social media posts, leaving his followers in splits.
Last week when Hardik Pandya deiced to spend some time in his kitchen and he shared pictures showcasing his skills inside the kitchen, Dhawan’s comment tickled everyone’s funny bones. Captioning the post on Instagram, the Indian all-rounder wrote: “Never too late to try your hand at learning something new. Chef duties at the Pandya household. Swipe for the dish. PS dish is cheese butter masala.” Commenting on the pictures, Dhawan had replied: “Bilkul bhai tuney hi banaya hoga.”
