The veteran Indian opener, Shikhar Dhawan has emerged as one of the most active cricketers on social media platforms during the lockdown and has consistently shared some funny pictures and videos to keep his fans entertained. On Friday, Shikhar Dhawan on Friday, took to Twitter to share a funny photo of himself with his son Zoraver wearing unique nose rings.

In the photo, Zoraver and Shikhar can be seen wearing “nose rings” with his wife Aesha photo-bombing their picture. Captioning the picture on Twitter, Shikhar Dhawan wrote, “Loving our new nose rings, Thanks Aesha for interrupting our photo session. #PunkRockers”.

Shikhar Dhawan often shares photos and videos of himself with his son Zoraver. Last week, he can be seen teaching some horse-riding to his son. The Indian opener can now be expecting to get back in the field for the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as he plans for Delhi Capitals (DC). The 13th edition of the IPL can be expected to take place between September 19 to November 8 in the UAE.

In his IPL career so far, DC opener has played as many as 159 games after making a debut in 2008. The veteran southpaw has managed to amass as many as 4,579 runs in the cash-rich league with an average of 33.42 and a strike rate of 124.80. However, he is yet to score a century in the IPL.

The Indian opener played his last competitive match during a three-match ODI series against Australia. During the series, he suffered an injury that kept him out of India’s tour to New Zealand in February-March.
