Delhi Capitals (DC) got off to a nightmarish start while chasing a huge target of 201 runs in the ongoing first Qualifier against teh defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, on Thursday. Mumbai’s pace bowlers – Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah – wreaked havoc by scalping four wickets in as many overs including teh likes of, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, and Shreyas Iyer.
Both the fast bowler were rested for the previous game and they didn’t take long to make their mark. In the very first over of Delhi’s innings, Boult dismissed Prithvi Shaw and Rahane even before DC didn’t have even troubled the scorers. And even before Delhi could recover from those twin blows, Bumrah castled Dhawan for a duck too with a stunning delivery.
