Team India is currently locking horns with the Windies team the first of the two-match series at Saurashtra Cricket Association in Rajkot. However, the Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan had an impressive time in the multi-nation event, but he was rested for the home Test series. During the English tour, he got off to starts but was unable to convert them. Subsequently, he was greeted with brickbats and more importantly, many experts went on to question his credentials to play the longest format.

Meanwhile, some of the recent reports have suggested that all is not well between the spouse of Shikhar and Kohli outside the cricket field. As per reports in Dainik Jagran, it has been learned that there has been uneasiness between Anushka Sharma and Ayesha Dhawan after the left-handed batsman was omitted from the team. Ayesha had said that she had not spoken on her family to Anushka and ever since they haven’t spoken to each other. Previously, a Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) official said that Ayesha and Anushka were good friends. The Indian skipper had also arranged passes for both of them during the ODI at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London in July.

Dhawan was recently crowned as the Man of the Series as he became the leading run-scorer of the Asia Cup, scoring 342 runs along with a couple of centuries against Hong Kong in the Group stage and Pakistan in the Super 4 phase. Kohli was also the top run-getter in the Test series against England having scored 593 runs. He was also India’s Man of the Series.
