Shoaib Akhtar remarks ‘too harsh’ on Salman Khan’s blackbuck verdict

Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar has not just the good relations with the Indian cricketers, he has also the good relations with the Bollywood actors. Recently, Bollywood star Salman Khan has been sentenced to imprison for five years which Akhtar remarked ‘too harsh’.

On last Thursday, Bollywood’s star actor Salman Khan was convicted by a Jodhpur court for killing two rare blackbucks and sentenced to five years jail. In addition, Salman has been fined INR 10,000 for hunting blackbucks that are protected animals under the Schedule I of the Wildlife Act since 1972.

The case has been running for almost 20 years. While Salman has received that punishment, his co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam Kothari have escaped from the punishments due to the lack of evidence against them.

After that verdict, 42-years old former Pakistan destructive fast-bowler Shoaib Akhtar took his official Twitter account for giving his response.

He wrote on his Twitter post, “Really Sad to see my friend Salman khan sentenced for 5 year But the Law must take its course & we got to respect the decision of honourable court of India but i still think punishment is to harsh but my heart goes to his family & fans .. Am sure he will out soon ..”
