Former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar has urged people and his government to help India fight with the ongoing second wave of COVID-19 and the oxygen shortage as well. India is currently the second-worst hit country by the virus after the USA and the positive cases have exceeded 25 lakh already and hospitals are also struggling for medical services.
Looking at the current situation, Akhtar posted a video on his YouTube channel where he has requested all his fans to help raise fund for India and “deliver oxygen tanks to them”.
“It is impossible for any government to tackle the ongoing crisis. I appeal to my government and fans, to help India. India does need a lot of oxygen tanks. I request everyone to donate and raise funds for India and deliver oxygen tanks to them,” Shoaib Akhtar said in a video on his YouTube channel.
