Former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik has become the eighth player ever to get dismissed by hit-wicket twice in One Day International (ODI) cricket. However, there are many great players who also got out in this way, like Allan Border, Kumar Sangakkara and Misbah-ul-Haq. Shoaib Malik’s first hit-wicket dismissal came in 2003 and the same incident once again happened during the fourth ODI against England on Friday at Trent Bridge. He was trying to cut but he went deep in his crease against fast-bowler Mark Wood. Unfortunately, he smashed his own stumps and gave a full stop to his quickfire 41 off 26.
Soon, England Cricketer took to Twitter and posted the video of his dismissal.
Don't see this too often!

However, in the game, Ben Stokes’s scored an unbeaten 71 and took England to the finish line after a top-order collapse and beat Pakistan by three wickets with three balls in hand. They have also secured the five-match series by 3-0 while the first one was abandoned. They were chasing a target of 341 where Jason Roy scored 114. But after his dismissal, England lost three wickets for seven runs within 10 balls. First, Joss Buttler and then Moeen Ali went for a duck and England reduced to 216 for five. However, Ben Stokes then took the charge, steadied the ship with Tom Curran (31) and got England back on the track.
Earlier in the game, Babar Azam smashed a century for Pakistan. Along with him, Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Hafeez scored half-centuries and they put up a huge total of 340 on board after 50 overs. Tom Curran took 4 wickets for England. His effort didn’t go in vain as England had the last laugh.
