The Mumbai Indians (MI) fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah came to the limelight with his unique bowling action. While his unorthodox action is difficult to imitate, Rajasthan Royals’ leg-spinner Shreyas Gopal claims that he imitates Bumrah’s action better than the fast bowler himself. In a video tweeted by his IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals, Gopal can be seen acing the imitation of the owling actions of Ravichandran Ashwin, Harbhajan Singh, and Jasprit Bumrah.
To his credit, Shreyas Gopal did a great job at all three, especially Bumrah. Bragging about how well he imitates, the Mumbai Indians fast bowler’s action, the RR leggie said that even Bumrah has told him that he imitates it better than him. IN a video tweeted by RR, Gopal can be heard saying, “I have shown it to Bumrah himself.. And he’s said I imitate him better than he does it himself.”
