The 30th match of the IPL 2022 is being played between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. In the second innings, KKR skipper, Shreyas Iyer shouted at Venkatesh Iyer for denying a second run in the 16th over of Trent Boult.
Earlier in the game, KKR skipper, Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to bowl first which has been the case in all the matches of the IPL 2022 so far. After many matches, Rajasthan Royals’ openers gave them a terrific start, with mainly Jos Buttler doing the heavy scoring in the powerplay. Padikkal and Buttler added 97 runs in 9.4 overs before Padikkal was bowled by Sunil Narine.

Sanju Samson then came to the party and smashed 38 runs in 19 balls, but the whole RR innings was about Jos Buttler. Jos reached his second IPL century this season off 59 balls. He got out for 103 in 61 balls and caught off the bowling of Pat Cummins, but it was an excellent inning. Once Buttler got out, RR batters started throwing their hands at every ball and eventually, RR reached a daunting score of 217/5 owing to the late blitz from Shimron Hetmyer.
During the chase, KKR suffered an early blow on the first blow as Hetmyer’s direct hit sent back Sunil Narine for a duck. However, Aaron Finch and skipper, Shreyas Iyer stitched a brilliant partnership of 107 runs for the second wicket before Prasidh Krishna dismissed Finch in the 9th over. Soon After that, KKR was down to 167/4 in 15 overs with Shreyas and Venkatesh Iyer in the middle.

However, on the last ball of the 16th over, Venkatesh played an inside-out shot over a deep backward point and Shreyas Iyer was ball-watching and came down for the second but Venkatesh sent him back in time, but the KKR skipper screamed at his teammate.
