The speculations started when Sara Ali Khan and Shubman Gill were spotted having dinner in Mumbai by a woman who posted a Tiktok in August earlier this year. Adding to the spice, both were again spotted on a flight a couple of months back. Although the person who was seen in the video resembled Gill, there was no confirmation whether it was the young cricketer himself. In the second video, the person who looked like Gill had again been spotted in the seat while Sara was taking her selfies on the flight.
