Team India’s young batter Shubman Gill is witnessing a perfect outing for his County team Glamorgan. Playing against Sussex, the right-handed batter played a phenomenal knock of 119 runs off just 139 deliveries, hitting 16 fours and two maximums at the end of Day 1. To note, this is Gill’s second fifty for Glamorgan as the right-handed batter looks in sublime touch.
During his innings on Day 1, Gill played several delightful strokes which included one of the ramp shots he played against Pakistan’s pacer Faheem Ashraf. Talking about Gill’s ramp shot, Ashraf bowled a short-of a length delivery outside the off-stump as Gill stayed still at the crease as he casually showed the face of the bat to deviate the ball towards the third-man boundary as the stand-in official signaled a six.
