The GT opener was dismissed for a duck against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Saturday, April 22 as his side registered a narrow seven-run win. After opting to bat first, GT finished their innings on 135/6 courtesy of a fifty from Hardik Pandya (66 off 50) and a brilliant 47 off 37 by Wriddhiman Saha.

In the second innings, LSG got off to a great start as openers KL Rahul and Kyle Mayers added 55 runs for the first wicket in almost 7 overs. Krunal Pandya and Rahul added 51 off 48 balls for the second wicket. However, after Pandya’s dismissal, things went haywire for LSG as they required 12 off the last over with seven wickets in hand.
