There have been various occurrences in International cricket when brothers have played for their respective national squads. IPL is into its 10 season and fans have witnessed siblings playing for different teams in various seasons.

Recently in this season, the Pandya brothers have been a powerful weapon for Mumbai Indians with their all-round capabilities and have won for their team on a consistent basis. While Krunal has been extraordinary with his slow left arms and attacking strokeplay, his younger brother Hardik is making all the headlines with his exciting strokeplay and his quick bowling.

Here is the list of siblings who have played in IPL since its first season:

Hardik and Krunal Pandya

siblings

Pandya brothers have been in phenomenal form in this season of IPL. They either have been finishing matches with their brilliant batting with the bat or the brothers were seen rocking in the field with some spectacular fielding and bowling. The elder one Krunal has become the find of IPL.

Irfan and Yusuf Pathan

Irfan and Yusuf have been a part of the IPL since its first season. Initially, Yusuf Pathan was part of Rajasthan Royals winning campaign in 2008. He also played crucial roles in KKR winning the desired title twice in 2012 and 2014. Irfan, unlike his elder brother, has not been only with one or two franchises. So far he has played for 5 franchises which show that he has not been that much consistent when it comes to IPL.

Albie and Morne Morkel

These Morkel brothers are well-known South African cricketers. But due to consistent injury issues, both have always been in and out of the team. Morne Morkel regularly featured for KKR and was also the successful bowler for them when they clinched the title in 2014. Albie has played IPL with RCB, CSK, and RPS. Unfortunately for him, he was released by RPS following his poor performance last season.

Dwayne and Darren Bravo

Dwayne Bravo has been a constant feature in the IPL since 2008. Initially, he was with Mumbai Indians, then he was picked by Chennai Super Kings and now he is with Gujarat Lions. Darren, on the other hand, is a wonder in IPL. He was with Deccan Chargers and played only one game for them.

Michael and David Hussey

These two Australian siblings were always a part of IPL. Michael Hussey, who is as known as Mr. Cricket, had his association with Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. He played a crucial role in most of the wins for his side whenever he has played in IPL. While David Hussey was associated with KKR and played some unforgettable innings for them.

Shaun and Mitchell Marsh

Shaun and Mitchell Marsh is another pair from Australia who played for the different team in IPL. Shaun Marsh is with Kings XI Punjab and is with them only for a long time now. He has won a bunch of matches for Punjab and was crucial in their run to knock out games in early seasons of the tournament. Mitchell had been with the Deccan Chargers in his early days as a cricketer and later on, he was picked by the Pune franchise twice, once in 2012 by Warriors and then by Supergiants last year.
