In a cricket match, more often than not a captain plays a role in a team winning the game, especially while defending a target. And, in the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), when Virat Kohli decided to hand the ball to left-arm spinner Shahbaz Ahmed and it turned out to be a masterstroke. Ahmed scalped 3 wickets in the 17th over of the SRH innings, and also gave away just a single run.

And, with the victory over the David Warner-led SRH, RCB has now reached the numero uno position at the IPL 2021 points table. The Virat Kohli-led side has won both the matches that they have played in the 2021 edition of the IPL and have experienced a rousing start to their campaign.

Glenn Maxwell was the star performer for the RCB side with the bat during the game against SRH. The Australian batting powerhouse scored a 41-ball 59 to power the RCB to reach a defendable score of 149/8 in their allotted 20 overs. On a pitch where the ball was not coming onto the bat, Maxwell played a classic knock.
