Bradman was one of the best batsmen in cricket history. The right-handed former Australian batsman was just four runs short to finish his Test career with the 100 batting average. Bradman had played 52 Tests where he had scored 6,996 runs with the average of 99.94, including 29 centuries and 13 half-centuries. His highest Test score was 334 runs which were once the highest Test knock.

In the first-class cricket career, Bradman had played 234 matches where he had scored 28,067 runs with the average of 95.14, including 117 centuries and 69 half-centuries. His best first-class cricket knock was 452* which was once the highest first-class cricket knock and presently the third highest first-class cricket knock.

The legendary cricketer had been born on August 27, 1908, at Cootamundra, New South Wales (Australia). His magical cricket career had run from 1927/28 to 1948/49. The legend had left us on February 25, 2001, as he was passed away at the age of 92 years 182 days.

Meanwhile, on the same morning, the former legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has recalled his memory when they had met the 20-year ago. On his 90th birthday occasion, 27th August 1998, then Indian cricket star Sachin had met with Bradman at his home at Kensington Park in Adelaide (Australia).
