India women’s opener Smriti Mandhana has been chosen as the brand ambassador of European footwear brand Bata. On Thursday, she unveiled a new power range of sports outfits.

She has been in a splendid form since landing her foot in South Africa. She was player of the match in both first One-Day International matches, where she scored 84 and 135 in respective games. As a result, India won the series with one match is yet to be played.

Talking about her association with this brand, she said “I have been playing and loving cricket from a very young age. However, even till date, every day is a new game. In the sense that there is a new challenge and along with it a fresh opportunity of achieving new milestones.”

She has become first Indian women batsman to score an ODI hundred in Australia, South Africa, and England.
