Recently, Smriti Mandhana played for Team India in the women’s tour of England. She played in all three formats of the tour and performed decently. Smriti formed a magnificent opening partnership with Shafali Verma in the one-off Test match played between the Indian women’s cricket team and the England women’s cricket team.

After the completion of the ODI and the T20I series between the Indian women’s cricket team and the England women’s cricket team, Smriti Mandhana has now linked up with Southern Brave club in Women’s Hundred 2021. In the newest format of the game being played in England, there are 8 teams locking horns with each other in a unique 100-ball-a-side tournament for the first time ever in cricket history.
The Men’s tournament is also happening simultaneously in the United Kingdom. The eight clubs participating in the tournament are Welsh Fire, London Spirit, Northern Superchargers, Southern Brave, Trent Rockets, Manchester Originals, Oval Invincibles and Birmingham Phoenix.

Smriti Mandhana is a part of the Southern Brave team and recently, Palash Muchhal was seen expressing his excitement for the tournament. Before playing her first match in the Women’s Hundred 2021 competition, Smriti Mandhana posted a photo of herself donning the Southern Brave jersey. She was looking forward to wearing the green kit for the Southern Brave outfit in Women’s Hundred 2021.
