Swashbuckling India opener Smriti Mandhana was left in laughter when a fan asked her a funny question on live television. The duo of Mandhana and Indian wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan recently featured on Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). During the quiz show, a fan said that several young Indian men follow her across different social media platforms.

Considering that, she asked what qualities would she be looking for in her ideal man? After a brief chuckle, Smriti Mandhana replied, “I wasn’t expecting this question, of course” and further added, “He has to be a good guy, who would care for me and understand my sport. These are the two qualities that I would want”.

Smriti Mandhana also spoke extensively about her cricket journey. She mentioned how her father was deprived of a cricket career by his parents and it motivated him to give full support to his children. Mandhana, who is the pillar of the Indian team, has revealed that she began as a right-handed batter before switching to being a leftie. Her brother played a key role in this decision because she used to watch him, standing behind the practice nets as well.

However, Mandhana and Ishan Kishan participated in KBC to raise money for the Differently-abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI). While speaking about the organisation, Kishan said that he would love to help them in any way possible. Kishan last played for India during a T20I game against Australia on November 28 in Guwahati as well.
