Smriti Mandhana Share’s Qualities Needed in Life Partner

The outbreak of the COVID-19 virus has affected the world severely. It has brought the world to a standstill with many countries being completely lockdown for safety and to contain the spread of the virus. Many major sporting events have either been postponed or canceled in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic affecting the globe. Cricket has also suffered a similar fate with many international and domestic matches being canceled.Β  With no cricket going on, all the cricketers have a lot of free time on their hands right now. They are making the most of it by spending time with family. Many cricketers have also been proactive on their social media in the past few weeks due to the lockdown. On Friday, Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana decided to schedule an interactive Twitter session to engage and spend some time with her fans, answering their questions.

Amid all the fun questions on during her Twitter interaction with the fans, an avid cricket fan and a Twitter user asked her about the criteria she would want in her life-partner. The fan wrote, β€œWhich will be the criteria for your life partner?”

The famous left-handed opener of the Indian cricket team was quick to respond to this curiosity of the cricket fan. Smriti came up with a smart witty response and replied with an answer that suggested 2 rules for her life partner. She shared the first rule which was that her partner should love her and the second one being, he must follow the first rule.

β€œNumber 1-He should love me Number 2-He should follow criteria number one,” Mandhana’s reply read.

Smriti Mandhana was last seen playing in the ICC T 20 World Cup inΒ  Australia. Mandhana along with the Indian Cricket team finished as runners up after losing to the hosts’ Australia in the final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Just like Smriti Mandhana, India skipper Virat Kohli engaged with former English cricketer Kevin Pietersen in an Instagram live session and spoke on several topics. Vice-captain Rohit Sharma also joined hands with MI teammate and India pacer Jasprit Bumrah and coordinated an Instagram live session between them.

The pandemic spread of the COVID-19 Virus has affected more than 3,082 people across India taking away more than 86 lives. Originated in China, the virus has now affected more than 1,117,860 people taking 59,203 lives.

While some influencers or celebrities/cricketers would refuse to answer personal questions, Smriti Mandhana was quite open about it. She is always very bold with regard to her opinions. This was just another instance of showcasing that.
