Just last week, the couple confirmed their engagement in a unique and light-hearted way. Smriti posted a viral Instagram reel featuring fun dance moves with Jemimah Rodrigues, Shreyanka Patil, and others, subtly flashing her ring in the last frame. Soon after, Palash shared a touching video of his surprise proposal at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai—the same venue where India recently lifted the Women’s ODI World Cup.

Smriti’s Haldi ceremony was full of colour and laughter, with the bride-to-be dancing joyfully in a bright yellow outfit alongside teammates Shafali Verma, Renuka Singh Thakur, and Radha Yadav. The Mehendi ceremony saw her in an elegant purple look.
