There is no hard and fast rule about age and playing youngsters in T20Is,” Ganguly remarked during a media interaction in Delhi.

Sourav Ganguly also advocated for a well-balanced mix of youth and experience within the Indian squad for the T20 World Cup, emphasizing the importance of considering both IPL and international performances in the selection process. “There needs to be a balance of experience and youth,” he commented, noting the integral role of seasoned campaigners in achieving success.

Embracing an aggressive batting ethos, Ganguly urged the Indian team to unleash their power-hitters, including Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, and Hardik Pandya. “India needs to go out and hit,” he emphasized, acknowledging the exceptional talent and six-hitting prowess of these players.
