Former India captain and the present Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president, Sourav Ganguly, has recently shared an image on his social media account and he wished he could do this in his “next 3 lives”. Ganguly has shared a picture where he can be seen in Indian colours and playing a lofted shot and captioned the post, “Wish I can do this for the next 3 lives.”
However, Sourav Ganguly, who had retired from all forms of international cricket way back in 2008. He had last played his One Day International for India in November 2007 against Pakistan as well.

It is also noteworthy that, Ganguly has represented the national team in 311 ODIs where he amassed 11,363 runs which came at an average of 40.73, which also included 22 centuries and 72 fifties as well. He also picked up 100 wickets as well.
He is considered one of the best captains of India as well. Meanwhile, Sourav Ganguly had also played in 59 Indian Premier League (IPL) matches, where he amassed 1349 runs which came at a strike rate of over 106 for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Pune Warriors India (PWI) franchises as well.

However, earlier this year, the former India captain was diagnosed with ”triple vessel disease” after he was suffering a mild heart attack at home. Later, a stent was inserted into his coronary artery in a private hospital in Kolkata and he was discharged after five days from the hospital as well. And, within a month, he underwent another successful angioplasty where two more stents were inserted in his coronary artery as well.
