on Tuesday, the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) announced Andhra left-arm pacer Yarra Prithvi Raj will be replacing the veteran pacer, Bhuvneshwar Kumar. In a Twitter post on Tuesday, the franchise confirmed that Prithviraj – who has previously been a part of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) – will be coming in as Bhuvneshwar’s substitute.
Bhuvneshwar sustained the injury during the league game against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Dubai on Friday and team sources have told Sportstar that the fast bowler will be missing the rest of the tournament. The source added, “The support staff was keeping a tab on his injury, but unfortunately, he has been ruled out. He is an integral part of the team and his absence will be a big blow,” a source said.

This is the second case of a player getting injured from the SRH camp – Australian Mitchell Marsh flew back home after sustaining an injury in the first match itself and he was replaced by Jason Holder.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be missing the remaining part of the ongoing part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to a hip injury that he sustained during their win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday. Speaking to ANI, sources in the team confirmed that the fast bowler as been ruled out of the tournament from the cash-rich league due to the injury.

Bhuvneshwar suffered the injury and immediately decided to go back o the pavilion in the 19th over. He did try to bowl and had to stop in his stride twice before the physio decided that he needed to walk off and would take further part in the game.
