In the 52nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, the visiting team Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) recorded a stunning win in a dramatic last-over finish as they registered a 4-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals (RR) in a high-scoring chase. Batting first, riding on some fiery half-centuries from both Jos Buttler and captain Sanju Samson, who amassed respective scores of 95 and 66 runs, RR managed to post a huge 214 runs on the board.
Chasing a daunting target of 215 runs, Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered a loss of their first wicket on 51 runs. Then they managed to churn out a p partnership or the second wicket as Abhishek Sharma and Rahul Tripathi added 5 runs. However, with the dismissal of Abhishek in the 13th over, the visitors kept losing wickets at crucial junctures.
