Cricket fever in Asia is at its highest position as all four major teams are involved in a series. India is hosting Australia while Bangladesh is having a tough time in South Africa. Meanwhile, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are busy in UAE, where they will play five ODIs and three T20Is apart from an ongoing two-match Test series.

Interestingly, Pakistan Cricket Board made a unique schedule of this series, where the final T20I to be held in Lahore. Despite this brave call, Sri Lankan board is yet to make a final call over the venue. Board will send an independent security expert to Lahore next week to assess the security situations there at Gaddafi Stadium.

Since ever the ban of hosting International cricket, Pakistan has hosted only Zimbabwe in 2015. But ICC has re-introduced cricket there in September when World XI T20 side played three-match series in Lahore.

It all started with Sri Lanka at that very venue, when Sri Lankan team bus suffered a terrorist attack while going to play a match.
