The co-owner of the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Shah Rukh Khan was left extremely heart-broken when his team lost the IPL match against Mumbai Indians (MI) by a huge margin of108 runs. Being the boss, he was so displeased that he publically said that the loss was due to ‘lack of spirit’ and even apologized to his fans as well.
SRK’s indirect bashing to the KKR team became a catalyst for Dinesh Karthik & his men as they came back strong and defeated Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the very next game by 31 runs after scoring a huge score of 245/6.

This victory was a much-needed one for KKR in lots of ways. Firstly, they kept their chances to qualify for the playoffs alive. Secondly, the win against KXIP turned out to be successful to make the owner, SRK, happy. Delighted by his team’s overall performance and their way of gaining back the spirit, the King of Bollywood took to his social media handle and came up with a message which he dedicated to captain Karthik.

For the KKR fans, it was cheerful to see their favorite team and star happy as the war isn’t over yet for them.
The last week of IPL 2018 is going to be crucial for teams like KKR, MI and Rajasthan Royals (RR). While KKR is at the 4th position with 12 points, RR and MI are just behind them with 12 and 10 points respectively. Their performance in the remaining two game games is going to script their IPL campaign as losing a game here may lead to an exit from the tournament.
On Tuesday, KKR will play the most important match for them against Rajasthan Royals (RR), which will be do-or-die for both of them and that match will be followed by their last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Saturday.
