India won the final match of the One-Day International series by 35 runs against New Zealand. With that win, India won the series by 4-1, where only defeat came in the fourth ODI on a green pitch. Indian bowlers were right on top of Kiwi batsmen throughout their run chase and successfully defended an average total of 252. Yuzvendra Chahal took three wickets while Mohammad Shami and Hardik Pandya managed two wickets each.
