India sealed the ongoing T20I series against Sri Lanka on Friday in Indore evening after beating neighbors Sri Lanka by 88 runs in a high scoring game. Indian openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul helped the team to reach the mammoth score of 260 runs.
In reply, Kusal Perera provided Sri Lanka with a chance due to his 77 run knock from 37 balls but the middle and lower order collapsed inadequately to suppress those hopes. Yuzvendra Chahal scalped four wickets and Kuldeep Yadav finished with three as the impact from the wrist-spin duo continued to bother the Lankans. With the result, India took an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
