The first major acquisition for RCB was West Indian pace sensation Alzarri Joseph, secured for ₹11.50 Cr.

Known for his aggressive pace and holding the record for the best-ever bowling figures in the IPL (6-12), Joseph presents a potent option for the death overs. His addition marked a significant step towards enhancing RCB’s bowling prowess. To further augment the fast-bowling arsenal, RCB acquired New Zealand’s Lockie Ferguson for ₹2 Cr and England’s Tom Curran for ₹1.50 Cr. Both players bring international experience and add substantial firepower to the pace unit.

Head coach Andy Flower provided a comprehensive overview of the team’s composition.
