Former India captain MS Dhoni is considered one of the best captains in world cricket. He is the only captain who has won all three ICC Trophies. After him, Virat Kohli took the reins and he is also one of the best batsmen in world cricket in recent times.
Ever since Kohli took the charge, everyone started comparing both of them. While MS Dhoni has indeed changed the phase of Indian cricket, Kohli too has become the most successful Test captain of India as well.

Notably, KL Rahul has made his debut under MS Dhoni’s captaincy. While Rahul earned his Test cap during Dhoni’s final series as captain, he played a lot of limited-overs cricket from 2016 to 17 under Dhoni’s leadership. “Something I have learned from him is how humble he has been through ups and downs, how he has put his country ahead of everything is just unbelievable,” Rahul said to Forbes.
And, KL Rahul is aware of the fact what MS Dhoni has done for the country but the flamboyant batsman has said Dhoni’s biggest achievement is the respect he earned from his fellow players as well.
“Yes, he has won a lot of tournaments, done amazing things for the country but I think the biggest achievement that as captain you can have is the respect of your teammates and any of us would take a bullet for him without a second thought. The minute anybody says captain, the first name that comes to mind from our era will be MS Dhoni. We have all played under him,” KL Rahul expressed.
