The rumours of MS Dhoni featuring in the upcoming Tamil movie, GOAT (Greatest of All Time) is mounting day by day. Amidst all the ruckus, former India cricketer Subramaniam Badrinath has confirmed that he will be playing a role in the movie. For the unversed, GOAT is a feature film with Tamil superstar Vijay in the lead role.
Subramaniam Badrinath took to his ‘X’ account and shared moments from his voice dubbing for the movie. As far as Dhoni’s potential inclusion in the movie is concerned, fans have already hyped up over their beloved cricketer’s cameo. The movie is directed by Venkat Prabhu and Vijay will play a dual role. The movie also features Prabhu Deva and Yogi Babu.

Subramaniam Badrinath has played two Tests, seven ODIs, and one T20I for India. The right-handed batter made his ODI debut in 2008 and was last seen playing for the national side in 2011. Though a brief career, he was mostly known for his stint with Chennai Super Kings. The veteran played 95 games for CSK, amassing 1441 runs with 11 fifty-plus scores.

Besides the national and franchise cricket, he had a splendid first-class career playing for Tamil Nadu. He has 10,245 to his name at an average of 54.49 with 32 centuries and 45 half centuries.
