Sunil Chhetri is known for sharing a great camaraderie with former Indian skipper, Virat Kohli and gets along really well with the star batter. Posting the video of the fielding drills of Sunil Chhetri, BCCI wrote: “NCA’s Neighbour, Indian Football Captain, and Legend, @chetrisunil11 dropping by on Sunday evening. He had a delightful fielding competition and shared some learnings from his own incredible journey in Football with the boys from North East and Plate Teams.”

Sunil Chhetri has played in a record 125 matches for India in a career that has already lasted for 17 years now. He has been Indian football’s poster boy since the retirement of former captain Bhaichung Bhutia in 2011.

Chhetri’s brilliant run at the international level has been pretty evident in recent times and it has shown he’s performed in Indian domestic football. While the early years saw Chhetri set the I-League on fire and become the highest Indian goal scorer in the league in 2017, he hasn’t lost any intensity since he started performing in the Indian Super League (ISL) in 2015.
