Indian football team skipper, Sunil Chhetri graced his presence during the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) practice session ahead of their opener in the Indian Premier League. With the crowd set to return to the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore, RCB has been able to invite fans and in this case Sunil Chhetri to the stadium and also practice some fielding drills. The Indian captain was seen practicing with the side and taking part in a varied set of activities.
Sunil Chhetri, considered one of the fittest men in Indian football, despite the age of 38 showed some outlandish fielding skills that left the RCB team stunned. Royal Challengers Bangalore shared the videos and photos via their social handles where the Indian football captain was seen being inquisitive about the specifics of cricket.

The captain at one moment looked astonished that one good shot or one bad ball could turn the entire outcome of the game. A Bengaluru resident himself, Chhetri has been associated with the IPL franchise. The football star – one of the highest scorers for national teams in the history of football himself captains the Bengaluru franchise in the Indian Super League – India’s top-tier football competition.

RCB will be playing their opening game of IPL 2023 at home against Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians (MI). The third-place holder in last year’s competition, RCB would hope that they can better their position this season and get their hands on the elusive Indian Premier League trophy.
