India football captain Sunil Chhetri recently gives a funny reply to former India captain Virat Kohli on social media and fans couldn’t keep their calm on social media as well. However, Chhetri shared a video on Instagram, saying that the youngsters couldn’t beat him in spite of being 37 years old. And, Virat Kohli instantly reacted to the post and he called Chhetri a “legend”.
The national football captain then added: “Sab broccoli aur palak ka khel hai. Woh adrak ka swad ke baare mein kya kehte hai? Cheers, champ.” However, this is not the first time as both Chhetri and Kohli have earlier also exchanged hilarious comments on social media. In May 2021, when Kohli shared his crossbar challenge video, to which Chhetri reacted, seeking a coaching fee for the training session given by him to the cricketer as well. And, Kohli funnily replied “Aap Mauj lelo poori (You pull my legs)”.
However, Virat Kohli was rested for the India tour of the West Indies after their series against England, which saw India clinching both the ODI and T20I series 2-1 as well. The former India captain took a break amid his prolonged lean patch. Kohli, who has not scored a century in almost three years, managed to score only 31 runs in two outings during the Birmingham Test which India lost by seven wickets to England as well.
Virat Kohli also missed the first T20I before returning and scoring 1 and 11 in the second and third matches respectively against England. He then scored 16 and 17 runs in the 2nd and 3rd ODI as well. Then he took a break from international duty instead of travelling to the West Indies to regain his form which didn’t go down well with many.
