Legendary Indian batsman Sunil Gavaskar has felt disappointed with the recent performances of Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya and two other cricketers. The former Indian cricketer believes that some players don’t deserve to be in the national team.

Indian cricket started the UK tour brilliantly by winning the back-to-back T20I bilateral series in Ireland (won by 0-2) and England (won by 1-2). But then, Indian cricket team first lost the three-match ODI series in England (lost by 2-1) and now has lost the five-match Test series in England (trailing by 3-1), even one Test is still to be played.

While Gavaskar has raised the questions on Virat Kohli’s captaincy and the responsibilities of the other Indian batsmen, except the skipper; the former has lashed out on three Indian cricketers, including the all-rounder Hardik Pandya. Even, Gavaskar believes this trio don’t deserve to be selected in the national team squad.

Talking about the pace-bowling all-rounder Pandya, Gavaskar has denied considering him as an all-rounder. However, the Indian batting legend hasn’t revealed the other two names in this most disappointed list.

According to Sports Tak, Gavaskar said, “In this Indian team, some players don’t deserve to be in the national team. They should not only be left out of the playing eleven but also from the squad.

“I’m not only talking about Hardik Pandya but also two to three more cricketers, who should be shown the door in order for them to work hard and fight for their places in the Indian team.”

While Indian bowlers have majorly performed well in this tour, Indian batsmen have disappointed hugely with their poor batting techniques and temperaments.
