Legendary Indian batter Sunil Gavaskar shared a lighthearted moment with Hardik Pandya after India’s previous Asia Cup fixture, leaving fans entertained. Gavaskar, known for his sharp wit, revealed that Pandya complimented his fitness, prompting the 76-year-old to suggest a return to competitive cricket cheekily.

“Hardik Pandya told me I look very fit,” Sunil Gavaskar said with a smile. “So, I told him to consider me for the Mumbai Indians during the IPL.”
The exchange came with an added touch of nostalgia, as Pandya currently leads the Mumbai Indians, the joint-most successful franchise in IPL history, having taken over the captaincy in recent seasons.
