AS per the quotes in TOI, Suresh Raina said, “I think I am also a Brahmin. I have been playing since 2004 in Chennai, I love the culture. I love my teammates. I have played with Anirudha Srikanth, Badri (S Badrinath), Bala Bhai (L Balaji). We have a good administration at CSK and we have the license to explore ourselves. I love the culture there, and I’m lucky to be part of CSK.”

Suresh Raina announced his retirement from international cricket on 15th August 2020, moments after former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni decided to hang his boots from international cricket.

Raina has represented India in 18 Tests, 226 ODIs, and 78 T20Is. He was the first Indian to score a century across all three formats of international cricket. Raina, who missed IPL 2020 due to personal reasons, was in decent form before the tournament was suspended due to Covid-19.
