Suresh Raina made a comeback in the Indian side with the first T20 International against South Africa at the New Wanderers, Johannesburg. He played his last international game against England on February 1 in Bengaluru. Meanwhile, he got an early reprieve in his return game as Farhaan Behardien dropped a tough chance to get rid of him early.

After Rohit Sharma’s wicket in the second over, Captain Virat Kohli threw his weight behind Raina and sent him at number three to do what he used to do for Chennai Super Kings. And Raina sends his third delivery into the stand and cleared his intentions straight away.

However, on the very next ball, he followed his last shot again and it ballooned in the air but keeping field restrictions in mind, there was no fielder patrolling long-off. Behardien tried his best to run backwards from the thirty-yard circle and spoiled a tough chance to concede a boundary.
