Indian cricketers Suryakumar Yadav and Rinku Singh shared a funny story on Instagram, engaging with their fans. Suryakumar captioned a picture he posted on his Instagram story with Rinku Singh, writing as usual with his favorite caption: “God’s Plan.” And humorously added, “Theek hai, bat le lena,” teasing the young cricketer.
That continued further when Rinku shared that story on his own Instagram account and responded, “De do bhaiya bat,” with a laughing emoji. The friendly banter could be sensed in Rinku-Suryakumar’s relation, with the latter having pleaded for the bat humorously even after breaking the one gifted to him by Virat Kohli. It lets one know the friendly rapport in the team.
The next important development is Suryakumar Yadav being made the captain of the Indian T20I team for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka. His selection over Hardik Pandya, being seen as the heir apparent to Rohit Sharma, was a trifle surprising to a great number of people when he picked up an injury and didn’t feature in the on-going phase of the IPL.

Incidents of concern over Pandya’s fitness and Suryakumar being praised in the dressing room compelled the team management to name him as the captain. Suryakumar has captained India in seven T20Is and won five of them, while it is 16 T20Is for Pandya as the Indian skipper with ten wins. The upcoming series will be an immense test for Suryakumar and the team, which looks to build on recent form.
