On National Sports Day, cricketing stars of Mumbai took a meaningful break from the field as they visited patients at Sri Ramakrishna Multi Speciality Hospital in Coimbatore. Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, and Dhawal Kulkarni were among the players who spent time with patients, particularly in the cancer ward.
The fact that the players visited their fellow citizens in their hour of need was not without a formal attempt to reach out to them with compassion and inspiration. Young kids welcomed the cricket stars as guests in the ward with red roses.

In return, the players received art portraits as a souvenir of remembrance from the kids. First, their potential qualifying to the semifinals, once again, went up in smoke after their defeat at the hands of TNCA XI. Reports say the injury is minor, and as a precaution, he didn’t play. Shams Mulani resisted with 68 in the chase of the huge target of 510 on Day Four as Mumbai folded over for 223. TNCA XI bowlers, especially CV Achyuth and R Sai Kishore, proved too hot to handle as they picked three scalps each to dismantle the Mumbai lineup.
