Suryakumar Yadav Aptly Describes Dhoni And Kohli In One Word

The Indian cricketer, Suryakumar Yadav, who recently witnessed an impeccable start to his international career, hosted a Q and A session on Instagram on Saturday. Fans were seen asking a plethora of questions for the Mumbai Indians star batsman. From his favorite shot to the best innings of his life, Suryakumar had no destination in answering them all.

The 30-year-old batsman, while answering questions from fans, also described current Indian skipper Virat Kohli and his predecessor, MS Dhoni, in one word. For Kohli, he used the term “inspiration” and for Dhoni, he came up with “legend”.

A fan asked Suryakumar to describe his Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma in one word as well. The right-handed batsman called him “Hitman”.

Talking further about the best innings of his life, Suryakumar Yadav was also seen posting a picture of his from his T20I debut against England where he got off the mark with a six over fine-leg off Jofra Archer.

Suryakumar, after performing well for MI in the Indian Premier League (MI) and scoring big runs in other domestic tournaments, earned his maiden India call-up during the limited-overs series against England earlier this year.

The Mumbai-born cricketer has played three T20Is of the five-game series against England in which he had managed to score 89 runs in two innings at an average of 44.50. His strike rate during his first couple of outings in international cricket was over 185. The middle-order batsman was also named in the ODI series but failed to make his debut.

With India slated to play Sri Lanka in six limited-overs matches in July, Suryakumar Yadav will be expected to be in the squad which will be without their star players as Virat Kohli and others will be in the UK for the World Test Championship final and the subsequent five-match Test series against England. ​
