The Indian cricketer, Suryakumar Yadav has had a memorable start to his long-awaited international career. After piling a heap of runs toiling hard for years in domestic cricket and in the Indian Premier League (IPL), he along with Ishan Kishan earned their maiden India call-ups last month for the ongoing T20I series against England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Both of them made their debuts during the second T20I of the series.
While Kishan opened the innings and scored a blazing fifty to lay the foundation for the chase, Surya didn’t get the chance to bat in the second T20I. But on Thursday, he was once again included in the team for the fourth T20I and he made it memorable.
Suryakumar Yadav got a chance to feature in the playing XI only because Ishan Kishan suffered a groin injury. And unlike his debut game, the Mumbai batsman got a chance to bat in the ongoing match. He didn’t have to wait for long to play his first delivery in international cricket. He has promoted at No.3 after Rohit returned to the pavilion in the fourth over.
And Surya made a sensational start to his international career by smashing his first delivery for a six at the highest stage of the game. In-form Jofra Archer bowled a short delivery at 143.9kph at Surya and the latter dispatched it into the stands with ease to open his account.
Here is the video of the six:

Suryakumar Yadav displayed his 360 Degree range off the first ball itself staying on the backfoot and hitting a brilliant sxi. The man also scored a wonderful half-century off just 28 balls showing his full range to keep India in the hunt in a must-win game.
