The post quickly went viral, drawing a humorous response from his teammate, Suryakumar Yadav. Known for his wit, Yadav referenced a memorable moment from the stump mic during a Test match against England in Vizag earlier in 2024. During the match, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was heard instructing his players, “Koi bhi garden ghoomta nhi dikhna chahiye” (No one should be seen strolling in the garden).

Seizing the opportunity for some light-hearted banter, Yadav commented on Jaiswal’s post, “Sambhal ke. Garden me ghoomega tho pata hai na” (Be careful. You know the consequence of strolling in the garden). Adding to the fun, Ravindra Jadeja also chimed in with a playful comment, simply writing, “Jawaan,” teasing Jaiswal affectionately.

As the T20 World Cup approaches, the Indian team is focused on clinching the title. The tournament, set to commence on June 2, will be co-hosted by the USA and the West Indies. India is expected to kick off their campaign with the formidable opening pair of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma.

However, former cricketer Wasim Jaffer has a different suggestion. He took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to propose that India should consider opening with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli, moving skipper Rohit Sharma to the middle order to strengthen the batting lineup.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, who had a challenging IPL 2024 season, will be eager to prove his worth on the international stage. Despite a decent performance, scoring 435 runs in 15 matches with a strike rate of 155.91 and an average of 31.07, Jaiswal knows he has more to offer. The upcoming T20 World Cup presents a golden opportunity for him to enhance his form and contribute significantly to India’s success.

As Team India prepares for their first game of the T20 World Cup, the anticipation and excitement among fans and players continue to build. Jaiswal’s light-hearted interactions with his teammates and his focus on improving his game reflect the positive atmosphere within the squad as they aim for glory in the prestigious tournament.
