The flamboyant Indian batter, Suryakumar Yadav is celebrating his 32nd birthday as he was born on 14 September 1990 in Ghazipur, Suryakumar is originally from Uttar Pradesh. As his father was an engineer at Bhabha Atomic Resource Center, his family had come to Mumbai from Varanasi. He had dreamt in his childhood that he would become a cricketer and get full support from his family. From schooling to early training, keeping his career in mind, he continued to perform well in domestic cricket.
The selectors do not pay attention, yet Suryakumar Yadav did not give up the hard work. As a result of his hard work over the years, he has got a place in the World T20 squad for the second consecutive year. Barring his century against Hong Kong in the Asia Cup, Surya’s bat has remained calm. He has been a consistent part of the team in T20Is since his debut.

Suryakumar Yadav made his international debut during the 5-match T20I series against England in 2022 and he batted at number-3 in the fourth match of the same series. After the dismissal of Rohit Sharma, he came in the fourth over of the innings. He sent the 5th ball of Jofra Archer’s over for a six in the fine leg direction. He is the first Indian cricketer to hit a six off the very first ball of a T20 International debut match.
The flamboyant batter played in the match as if he was waiting for this opportunity for a long time. Suryakumar scored 57 runs in 31 balls and became the player of the match. He hit 6 fours and 3 sixes in his innings. India scored 185 runs for 8 wickets. The English team could score 177 runs for 8 wickets.

Suryakumar Yadav has played 13 ODIs and 28 T20Is so far. He has scored 340 runs in ODIs with the help of 2 half-centuries and 811 runs in T20Is with the help of one century and 6 half-centuries. He represents Mumbai in domestic cricket. He has also scored a double century for Mumbai. Not only this, he has also taken 24 wickets in first-class cricket.
