India and Mumbai Indians’ swashbuckling batsman Suryakumar Yadav is currently in Sri Lanka prepping for the upcoming series. Notably, India will take on Sri Lanka in the three-match ODI series and as many T20I series as well.
All the games will be played at R Premadasa Cricket Stadium in Colombo where Team India are the favourites to win both formats as well. While there were a lot of comments have been going around, including Arjuna Ranatunga ‘second-string’ comment, Suryakumar Yadav responded to all those comments quite well by saying that they are here to have some fun and play good cricket.

He has now replied to the reported IPL rules for the next mega auction as well. Earlier, the reports also claimed that IPL teams will be able to retain only as many as four members. Moreover, it is different this time too. As per the report, all IPL franchises can retain a maximum number of three Indian players and one overseas player.
Suryakumar Yadav said: “I think this news came yesterday. We are still trying to find out if it’s true or no. But yeah when you play for India the emotion is completely different. I think when you play for India, you don’t think about anything else.”
“I think I have been doing the same thing that I have been doing for my franchise back in the IPL,” Suryakumar Yadav said on Tuesday. “Even in my debut series (against England), I did not do anything different. I have been enjoying that (attacking) role really well in whatever position they tell me to bat. I will stay the same. I will just go out there and express myself like I always do. I enjoy doing that.”
