Chennai Super Kings (CSK) locking horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 17th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. CSK opener, Ruturaj Gaikwad, looked like he would finally get out of his rut in the IPL 2022 season, but he failed to do so as SRH pacer, T Natarajan cleaned him up.
SRH skipper, Kane Williamson won the toss and invited CSK to bat first on a two-paced wicket. CSK suffered an early blow as Washington Sundar dismissed Robin Uthappa in the 4th over. His opening partner, Ruturaj failed to hit double digits in the first three games of this season and failed to do much in the 4th match as well.

It is quite similar to the previous season where Ruturaj Gaikwad had a horrid start before racking up the runs and ending as the orange cap winner. However, the good times haven’t yet begun for the youngster as he was undone by a pacy inswinger from T Natarajan. After playing a couple of attractive shots in the knock, he was dismissed for 16 (13) balls.
Here is the video of T Natarajan cleaning up Ruturaj Gaikwad:
SRH made two changes by leaving out Abdul Samad and Romario Shepherd made way for Shashank Singh and Marco Jansen. On the other hand, Maheesh Theekshana came in for Dwaine Pretorius.
