New Zealand and Pakistan are locking horns in the seventh match of the Super 12 round of the T20 World Cup 2021 in Sharjah. Pakistan are coming into this game on the back of a win against India while New Zealand are kicking off their campaign in the tournament.
Babar Azam won the toss and elected to bowl first. He mentioned Pakistan are fielding an unchanged playing XI. New Zealand, on the other hand, have Trent Boult and Tim Southee in the pace department while Ish Sodhi and Mitchell Santner are the spinners on the side.

New Zealand’s batting innings didn’t take off despite having several big hitters in the rank. They huffed and puffed to 134/8 in 20 overs.
In response, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan took Pakistan off to a cautious start. The duo added 28 runs before Tim Southee dismissed the Pakistan skipper. Fakhar Zaman got out after scoring 11 to Ish Sodhi. Mohammad Hafeez walked out to bat at number four.
Hafeez started his innings with a six on the first ball. He was looking in his groove and smashed Mitchell Santner for what was looking like another six. Devon Conway was fielding at long-off and put a desperate full-stretch dive to pluck the ball out of the thin air.
