Australia’s Glenn Maxwell is one of the most destructive batters going around in cricket. He is known for playing big shots regardless of the situation in the match his team is in. Reverse sweep, switch hit, revers lap – you name it and Maxwell can play it.
Meanwhile, he was seen practising a more unique shot recently in the net session. Australia is participating in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021 in the UAE, where a video of him playing an unusual shot has gone viral.

Australia began their T20 World Cup 2021 campaign with a victory against South Africa in a low-scoring thriller in Abu Dhabi.
In their second game against Sri Lanka on Thursday, Australia registered a comprehensive victory. They restricted Sri Lanka to a below-par score with a brilliant bowling performance. Adam Zampa was excellent during his four-over spell, where he conceded just 12 runs while accounting for two wickets as Sri Lanka put 154/6 in 20 overs.

In response, Australian opener Aaron Finch and David Warner took their team off to a flying start. The duo scored 70 runs for the first wicket before Finch got out for 37 runs. Warner, however, stroked his way back to the form and scored a match-winning fifty. Marcus Stoinis and Steve Smith completed the formalities and hunt the target down.
Australia won the game by seven wickets with three overs to spare. This is their second win in as many games. Their next game will be against England on Saturday in Dubai.
