Afghanistan are playing some sensational cricket in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021 in the United Arab Emirates. They have won two games out of three they have played so far and are well-placed in group 2 of the Super 12 stage in the tournament.

On Sunday, they registered their second victory of the Super 12 stage by beating Namibia by 62 runs, which put them second on the points table after Pakistan, who have won all three games they have played so far.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan’s star wicketkeeper Mohammad Shahzad has been an entertainer off the field. He loves humming Bollywood songs when off the field and has expressed his love for India and the movie industry.

Apart from it, he is known for his humorous takes as well. The 33-year-old right-hander earlier won hearts for his quirky pre-match presser, where he hilariously called himself a “natural beauty” who takes just 35 seconds to get ready and receives compliments from girls saying that he looks cute. The hard-hitting Afghan opener has now grabbed the spotlight for his amusing video that has gone viral on social media.

On the tournament’s front, Afghanistan were already placed in the Super 12 because of their higher ranking while teams like Sri Lanka and Bangladesh had to battle it out in the qualifying rounds to pave a way for the Super 12 stage.

Afghanistan won their first game in a sensational manner against Scotland. They scored 190 runs while batting first before dismissing Scotland for a mere total of 60 runs. Afghanistan were superb against Pakistan as well and it took Asif Ali to play a sensational knock to defeat Afghanistan.

However, the Mohammad Nabi-led team came good against Namibia and won the game by 62 runs, and gave a fitting farewell to Asghar Afghan who was playing his last international game today.
